In March of 2013, we won a beer engine. We've spent the next 11 years dreaming about installing this beautiful piece of machinery, which is designed to pour the perfect pint of Real Ale from a cask. Well, the wait is finally over, and Ernest (our faithful Beer Engine) is installed and ready for its maiden voyage!
As such, please join us on Friday, February 23rd at high noon, when we pull our very first pint from our beer engine in our pub! For this special occasion, we’ve queued up a cask of our Love For Me For A Long Time Pilsener – dry hopped with extra goodness! We’ll be pulling beers all day until the cask is gone. And, since nothing goes quite as well with a freshly pulled pint than Fish & Chips, we’ll be frying up fish all day, too. Yum!
